Production Operative

Our client, a respected and long-established manufacturing business based in Hitchin, is seeking Production Operatives to become part of their busy and growing team. Situated on the Hitchin industrial estate with excellent public transport links, this role offers stable, ongoing work with the opportunity to earn enhanced rates through regular overtime. As a Production Operative, you will receive full training across several production and assembly areas, developing a broad skillset within a modern manufacturing environment.

Production Operative - Working Hours

Monday to Thursday

06:00 - 15:00

Friday

06:00 - 11:00

Production Operative - Pay Rate

£13.19 per hour for standard working hours

-

£19.79 per hour after 39 hours worked per week & Saturday

Production Operative - Key Responsibilities

Assembling and manufacturing products to company standards

-

Operating machinery and production equipment safely

-

Conducting visual quality checks throughout the production process

-

Following production schedules and work instructions

-

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

-

Supporting colleagues to achieve daily production targets
