Cover, Examinations and Assessment Officer

This is an exceptionally exciting time to join Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Cwm Rhondda. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented Cover, Examinations and Assessment Officer to play a key role in the effective coordination of examinations, assessment data and daily staff cover arrangements across the school.With a £77.5 million investment in a new school campus, scheduled to open in 2029, the school is entering a major period of change and development. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of essential school operations, maintaining the highest standards of examinations administration and compliance, and supporting the effective management and analysis of pupil assessment and performance information.Working with a high degree of day-to-day autonomy under the strategic direction of the School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will take responsibility for coordinating internal and external examinations, managing whole-school assessment and reporting processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of examination and performance data.
