The team is being built around claim value and complexity, creating genuine opportunities for progression and development within a growing BI function.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing bodily injury claims from receipt through to settlement, investigating liability, reviewing evidence, liaising with customers and third parties, and negotiating outcomes in line with company and regulatory requirements. Working within a collaborative team environment, you'll handle claims appropriate to your level of experience while developing your technical knowledge and contributing to the continued growth of the department.

Available Opportunities

Junior Bodily Injury Handler

Handling lower-value bodily injury claims up to £25,000 through the Official Injury Claim (OIC) Portal. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical BI claims knowledge within a supportive team environment.

Bodily Injury Handler

Managing bodily injury claims up to £50,000, working across both the OIC and MOJ portals. You'll also deal with out-of-jurisdiction claims and take ownership of claims through to settlement.

Specialist Bodily Injury Handler

Handling complex bodily injury claims up to £150,000, including pre-action protocol matters and Letters of Claim. You'll also act as a technical referral point, supporting and mentoring less experienced members of the team.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have previous bodily injury claims experience and are looking to join a business with ambitious growth plans.

You will ideally have

  • Experience handling bodily injury claims
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
  • A proactive and organised approach to claims handling

Experience with the Official Injury Claim Portal, MOJ Portal, litigated claims, complex injury claims or mentoring colleagues would be advantageous, depending on the level.

What's in it for You?

  • Competitive salary depending on experience/level of role.
  • 10% discretionary bonus
  • Private medical cover
  • Life insurance
  • Pension support
  • Clear progression opportunities within a growing claims function
