Optical Assistant / Trainee Dispensing Optician

Vision in the Village Opticians is a growing boutique independent practice in Southfields Village, SW London, recently refurbished with the latest technology. We are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant or Trainee Dispensing Optician to join our friendly, experienced team.

As a small practice we pride ourselves on highly personalised customer service and a niche selection of frames and personalised eyewear. If you want to grow with a practice where your ideas and effort really count, we would love to hear from you.

THE ROLE

IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF

• You are passionate about eyewear and style
• You can dispense with confidence, including varifocals, and want to keep building your skills
• You communicate well and can reassure customers that they are in capable hands
• You enjoy making personal connections - the little things make all the difference
• You are a team player who gets stuck in: setting up in the morning, greeting customers, making drinks, quality control and checking in eyewear
• You want a long-term career in optics and are interested in training, or continuing to train, as a Dispensing Optician
