Bamford Contract Services is recruiting

Driver Labourers to support a long-term social housing kitchen and bathroom refurbishment project in and around Preston.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are happy to get stuck in, support tradespeople and travel between properties.

Driver Labourer Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out general labouring duties.
• Assisting with kitchen and bathroom rip-outs.
• Supporting tradespeople on site.
• Keeping properties clean, tidy and safe.
• Delivering materials between different sites.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to residents.

Driver Labourer Requirements

• Full, valid and clean UK driving licence.
• Own vehicle to travel between properties and sites.
• Previous experience working within social housing is highly desirable.
• Asbestos Awareness certificate.
• Manual Handling certificate.
• Working at Heights certificate.
• Willingness to undertake a face-fit test and remain clean-shaven where required.

Please note

One labourer will be provided with a company vehicle. The other successful candidate must have their own vehicle, as travel between properties will be required.

Experience working in occupied social housing properties is essential to ensure excellent customer service, respect for residents and high standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
