Workforce is currently recruiting for an experienced

Signage Metal Fabricator to join a well-established business in Bromsgrove.

If you have strong MIG welding and metal fabrication skills, can work confidently from technical drawings and take pride in producing quality work, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

The Role

•

Fabricate aluminium sheet metal products using technical drawings.

•

MIG weld aluminium and mild steel components.

•

Cut, fold, bend and shape sheet metal to meet design specifications.

•

Use hand tools and power tools to measure, cut and shape materials.

•

Carry out basic engineering tasks, including drilling, tapping, threading and countersinking.

•

Ensure components meet the required measurements and quality standards.

•

Work effectively as part of a team and assist with overtime when required.

What We're Looking For

•

Previous experience in metal fabrication.

•

Strong MIG welding skills.

•

Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

•

Experience using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.

•

Good measuring skills and a sound understanding of engineering principles.

•

A reliable, team-focused attitude.

Previous experience in signage fabrication would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?

•

£17+ per hour

•

Full-time, permanent employment.

•

40-hour working week.

•

Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm.

•

25 days' annual leave, including 5 days reserved for the Christmas shutdown, plus statutory bank holidays.

•
