Integrated Laboratory Medicine Deputy Information Manager

Provide day-to-day management of the LIMS system To maintain and develop the LIMS to ensure optimum availability To ensure day to day disruption and downtime is minimised Work closely with IT Service Management to eliminate reoccurring issues by developing sound incident and problem management processes and business continuity strategies To train and support the Department IT Leads in the absence of the ILM Information Manager To support the Department IT Leads in the management of departmental specific IT systems Co-ordinate appropriate training and development for all staff members in line with service requirements To work as part of a multidisciplinary, cross-directorate technical support team Perform other duties and undertake special projects as requested by line management
