The role

• Full teaching responsibility for a Year 6 class
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Upper KS2 curriculum
• Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and their transition to secondary school
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The ideal candidate will

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Have a good understanding of Year 6 expectations and assessment requirements
• Be committed to raising attainment and achieving excellent outcomes for pupils
• Be enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated to high-quality teaching and learning
