£12.71 plus holiday payWe are looking to recruit Casual After School Club Helpers to support with the School’s after care provision, which involves supervising children aged 4 to 14 years with indoor and outdoor activities.Responsibilities of a Casual After School Club Helper• To provide a high standard of care and supervision for all children attending the School’s after care provision, or holiday club, ensuring they are looked after in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.• To set up, prepare and carry out both indoor and outdoor activities.• Promote and safeguard the welfare of the children responsible for, and escalate any concerns.• Support during snack and meal times, being aware of those children with allergies, intolerances and specific dietary requirements.

Suitable candidates will

• have relevant experience (paid or voluntary) working with children• be excellent communicators (with strengths in adapting their approach depending on the age of the children)• be flexible, supportive team members• be positive and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in creating and running fun and engaging activities for children
