Literacy Support Teaching Assistant (Level 3)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate with the right skills and experience to join us as a Literacy Support Teaching Assistant. This would be an ideal progression route for a Teaching Assistant who wishes to further their career and make a real difference to pupils by working on an intervention basis with individuals and small groups. The Literacy Support Teaching Assistant will work under the Senior Lead for literacy and to deliver programmes of literacy support for designated groups of learners. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individual pupils and groups of learners. It will also involve monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.This role will form a key part of the learning support team at Olchfa School and we welcome applicants who want to bring enthusiasm, passion and energy to this exciting and dynamic role.
