Digital Skills Developer

Are you passionate about helping people use technology confidently and effectively?

The Digital Skills team is looking for a Digital Skills Developer to help improve the digital capabilities of students and staff across Cardiff Metropolitan University. You will identify digital skills needs, create engaging learning resources and deliver practical training that enables people to make effective use of the technology available to them.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues and students across the University to understand their activities, identify opportunities to improve working and learning practices, and provide development that supports Cardiff Met’s digital transformation.

You’ll play a key role in

Identifying the digital skills needed by staff and students to work, teach, learn and study effectively.

Analysing training needs and identifying common gaps in the use of Cardiff Met systems and technology.

Designing high-quality curricula, training materials and digital learning resources.

Creating and maintaining face-to-face training and e-learning.

Delivering engaging digital skills sessions to individuals and groups.
