The Best Connection Tamworth is currently recruiting Automotive Production Operatives to join a well-established automotive interiors manufacturer based at Fradley Park, Lichfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a global automotive supply chain, producing high-quality interior vehicle components for some of the world's leading automotive brands. Full training is provided, making this role suitable for both experienced production operatives and candidates looking to build a career within automotive manufacturing.

Shift Pattern

Weekly Rotating 3-Shift Pattern (No Fixed Shifts)

Days

06:00 - 14:00 (£15.77 per hour)

Afternoons

14:00 - 22:00 (£15.77 per hour)

Nights

22:00 - 06:00 (£17.82 per hour)

Please note

Candidates must be willing to work all three shifts as part of the rotation.

The Role

As an Automotive Production Operative, you will work within a modern manufacturing environment producing interior vehicle components, including doors, dashboards, and trim assemblies.

Working as part of a team, you'll ensure products are assembled safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Working on a fast-paced automotive production line
Assembling automotive interior components
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Conducting quality inspections and visual checks
Following detailed work instructions and production specifications
Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Keeping your work area clean and organised
Supporting wider production activities as required

Essential Requirements

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately
Flexible approach to rotating shifts
Own transport due to site location and shift times
Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or automotive experience would be advantageous but is not essential as full training is provided.
