Functional Assessor - Hybrid - Aylesbury

Looking for a change from hands-on clinical work? We are recruiting Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN and RNLD), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics and Pharmacists for a permanent Functional Assessor opportunity in Aylesbury.

You will use your clinical experience to complete structured functional health assessments for PIP and WCA, exploring how health conditions and disabilities affect people's daily lives and ability to work. The role involves reviewing available evidence, conducting assessments and producing clear, evidence-based reports. This is an assessment and report-writing role rather than a hands-on treatment position.

The salary is £40,000–£42,000 depending on the assessment service. This is a hybrid role, working between home and the Aylesbury assessment centre, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no nights or weekends.

Comprehensive full-time training is provided before you undertake assessments independently. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available, although part-time applicants must be available for the initial full-time training programme.

Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists may be considered across PIP and WCA opportunities. Paramedics and Pharmacists may be considered for PIP opportunities only.
