Salaried GP

Conduct face to face, telephone and online consultations Assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions Prescribe medications and treatments safely and appropriately in order with clinical guidelines Request, interpret and act upon laboratory tests, imaging and other investigations Refer patients appropriately to secondary care, community services and specialist teams when necessary Provide health promotion, disease prevention and lifestyle advice and modifications to improve patient health outcomes Manage patients with complex and multiple health conditions Maintain accurate clinical records Support national screening and vaccination programmes Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives Contribute to the achievement of practice and NHS quality standards Adhere to professional, ethical and legal requirements including confidentiality and safeguarding procedures Work collaboratively with our team Attend Practice meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Mentor and support the training and supervision of medical students, GP trainees and other healthcare professionals where appropriate
