Housing Officer

Your new company

We are working with a well-established housing organisation seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join their team on an initial one-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

• Managing a designated housing management patch
• Delivering a high-quality tenancy management service
• Conducting tenancy visits and estate inspections
• Investigating anti-social behaviour cases and tenancy breaches
• Managing neighbour disputes and supporting tenancy sustainment
• Monitoring rent accounts and working alongside income teams to address arrears
• Supporting tenants with a range of housing-related queries and issues
• Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for customers
• Ensuring compliance with housing policies and procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous Housing Officer experience within a Housing Association or Local Authority
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation
• Experience managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy-related cases
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous
