Cleaner (14 hours per week, at £13.45 per hour)

Leyland Methodist Church is seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and well organised individual to contribute to the effective day-to-day cleaning/ maintenance of Leyland Methodist Church and Community Centre. Turpin Green Lane Leyland PR25 3HA

The person appointed will work under the direction of the Centre Manager. This is a varied and flexible role, working 14 hours per week, with some flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the building and its users. However the core hours will be 7.30-10.00am Monday to Friday (the remaining 90 minutes to be mutually agreed) The successful applicant will help ensure that the church and community centre are safe, welcoming and well-maintained .

We are looking for someone who is an experienced cleaner, practical, dependable, and sympathetic to the needs of the users and supportive of the Christian ethos.

The successful applicant will require a satisfactory Enhanced DBS

disclosure and successful completion of safer recruitment checks, and the

Safeguarding Foundation course.
