Service Advidsor

We are seeking a Service Advisor to join a reputable automotive dealership in Runcorn. This is an excellent Service Advisor opportunity for a professional experienced in delivering high standards of customer service within a busy automotive environment. • Competitive basic salary of £30,000 with an achievable OTE of up to £33,000

Duties

• Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring clients receive clear and professional communication throughout their vehicle’s service
• Manage customer enquiries and promote value-added services effectively
• Coordinate workshop loading and ensure efficient workflow management
• Ensure accurate documentation and invoicing for all repair work
• Conduct vehicle health checks and explain findings to customers clearly
• Keep customers informed of vehicle progress and advise on additional work if required
• Facilitate a seamless customer journey from check-in to vehicle collection
• Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings, maximising workshop revenue
• Manage job times and invoicing promptly to meet targets

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Good communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
• Resilience, energy, and a confident, proactive approach
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
• Automotive industry experience is preferred but not essential
