About this role

To support the Catering Department which provides high quality, safe and nutritious food for patients, staff and visitors. Specifically undertaking Catering Responsibilities as detailed in the Job Description following task schedules, method statements and procedures. The Catering Stores Assistant is required to maintain stock levels and order food/provisions as necessary, ensuring all stock received is to the required Health and Safety standards. Liaising with Suppliers as necessary. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £20.00 (standard) or £41.00 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £15 per year applies
