Job Overview

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV Drivers to join our transport operation based in Dartford. The role involves carrying out pallet deliveries and collections to and from commercial customers, depots and distribution centres.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time, while maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled pallet deliveries and collections throughout the working day.

Operate an HGV safely and in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.

Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately, including proof of delivery documentation.

Ensure all loads are secure and handled in accordance with safety requirements.

Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.

Communicate professionally with customers, transport planners and depot staff.

Maintain a clean, safe and professional approach to all aspects of the role.

Working Hours and Pay

First 8 hours

£21.29 per hour.

After 8 hours worked

£23.50 per hour.

Base location

Dartford, Kent.
