The role

• Teaching History across the secondary age range
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that bring historical events and concepts to life
• Encouraging students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and research skills
• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

The ideal candidate will

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching History at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject
• Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills
• Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential
