From welcoming touring musicians and performers to helping keep our venues safe and secure, our Stage Door team plays an important role in making everything happen behind the scenes.

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and approachable person to join our team as a Stage Door Keeper & Security Officer.

On show days, Stage Door is the first point of contact for the artists, visiting companies, contractors and colleagues who bring our venues to life. You'll be one of the welcoming faces of Anvil Arts, helping everyone feel at home while ensuring our backstage spaces remain safe and secure.

It's a varied role where no two days are quite the same. From welcoming touring orchestras and local schools to managing parking and monitoring CCTV, you will be comfortable switching between busy periods and quieter moments, always keeping an eye on what's happening around you.

What you'll be doing

• Providing a warm and friendly welcome to everyone arriving at Stage Door, delivering excellent customer service.

• Helping maintain the safety and security of our venues, ensuring only authorised people access backstage areas.

• Being a helpful and approachable point of contact for artists, visiting companies, staff and contractors.

• Opening and closing the buildings, including setting security alarms.

• Keeping Stage Door and the surrounding areas welcoming, tidy and well presented.

We require applicants to be 18 years old or over
