Clinical Research Assistant

You will work alongside Research Nurses and Clinical Research Practitioners to support the recruitment of research participants from a range of clinical and community settings. You will support the laboratory sample aspect of clinical trial delivery, processing samples according to trial protocols and monitoring stocks of study specific laboratory kits. Phlebotomy skills would also be an advantage, but full training will be given. You must have excellent attention to detail, communication, organisation and IT skills, and be able to travel across the Trust geography. You will also work on our mobile research unit; willingness to drive our mobile research unit is desirable, which requires a standard manual driving licence. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates wishing to gain research experience, by working on a variety of interesting projects within a friendly and supportive team.
