ASAPMore House School is a small school that means big business. We are a creative-thinking school for girls aged 9 to 18 in the heart of Knightsbridge, and we are looking for a reliable, proactive and hands-on Caretaker to help keep our historic building safe, welcoming and running smoothly.About the roleReporting to the Head of Operations, you will take pride in delivering a high standard of care across our site, creating a positive and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, parents and visitors.

Your work will include

Opening the school each day and following all security and safety proceduresKeeping the buildings and facilities clean, well maintained and secureCarrying out minor repairs and DIY tasks, from changing lightbulbs to fixing locks and paintingSetting up and clearing spaces for events, assemblies, meetings and external bookingsManaging deliveries and helping with moving furniture and equipmentCarrying out health and safety checks and keeping accurate recordsSupporting emergency procedures, including fire drills and evacuationsLiaising with external contractors and service providersAbout youYou will have proven experience in a caretaker, facilities or site management role, ideally in a school, along with strong practical skills and a can-do attitude. You will be a good communicator who enjoys working with people of all ages, with sound knowledge of health and safety. You will also be punctual, flexible and able to use your initiative.
