HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted in Rotherham – Trunking Runs – No Handball – Immediate Starts

Join a leading UK logistics provider specialising in temperature-controlled transport, supporting major food distribution networks nationwide.

This role involves straightforward trunking of chilled and ambient goods between depots and RDCs, with no manual handling required. Simply reverse onto bays and allow site teams to handle loading and unloading, with typically 1–2 runs per shift.

You’ll be responsible for completing pre-shift vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurately filled out in line with company procedures.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have

-A valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving licence

-A valid Driver CPC qualification

-A Digital Tachograph Card in date

-No more than 6 points on your licence

In addition, applicants should have solid driving experience, including at least 12 months operating Class 1 vehicles

You should also have a minimum of 180 days’ hands-on commercial driving experience, ensuring you are confident, safe, and able to step straight into the role with ease.

This is an ongoing temporary role offering steady, reliable work with consistent shifts available.

Start time can range between 0300 and 0900 each day, ocassional PM runs also available as well as weekend work being available at times

Pay rates vary depending on shift patterns

• Monday to Friday day shifts – £18.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday night shifts – £19.00 per hour
• Saturday shifts – £20.00 per hour
• Sunday shifts – £21.00 per hour
