HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted in Sheffield - Temp to Perm

We are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well-established family run business in Sheffield. Duties will include trunking to RDC’s and NDC’s nationwide where you will be loaded full of pallets before returning to the depot.

Drivers will be required to open a curtain and wait to be loaded at he RDC or NDC, NO HANDBALL INVOLVED

All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

To be considered you'll need

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• A full UK CPC
• A valid digital tacho card

You must have held your licence for at least 1 year with 180 days commercial driving experience

This is a full time role with temp to perm opportunities available

Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being 1800 each evening

Pay for this role is £17.00 per hour PAYE

We also have the option to pay you £20.00 per hour through our Umbrella payroll provider

You will also acrue 28 days holiday per year
