Vehicle Technician – Wimbledon

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a busy dealership workshop in Wimbledon. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have previous workshop experience, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK. Main dealership and independent garage experience are both considered.

Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out vehicle servicing to manufacturer standards
• Complete vehicle health checks using modern diagnostic technology
• Diagnose faults and carry out authorised mechanical repairs
• Complete warranty repairs and accurate technical reports
• Road-test vehicles to confirm repairs are successful
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
• Work with the Aftersales team to maintain high workshop standards

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent – essential
• Previous Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic experience
• Main dealership or independent garage experience considered
• Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills
• Good attention to detail and willingness to develop technical skills
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential
• Right to work in the UK

Previous manufacturer-specific experience is advantageous but not essential, as accreditation training is available.
