landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent serving commercial, public and private sectors.

Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm

Pay

£12.71 an hour to £14.50 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities of the

Grounds Maintenance Operative

• Carry out grass cutting using strimmers, pedestrian mowers, and ride-on mowers with trailers

(full training provided).

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of all sites
• Operate, maintain, and care for vehicles and equipment
• Perform hedge cutting, shrub and border maintenance, pruning, and leaf clearance
• Undertake landscaping and environmental improvement works, including turfing, seeding, and planting
• Work safely at all times, complying with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements of the

Grounds Maintenance Operative

• Ideally looking for gardening/landscaping experience.
• Full UK driving licence to get to site.
• Experience with ride-on mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters is an advantage but not essential.
• Competent and confident in towing a trailer is an advantage.
• Health and safety awareness through training and experience.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to follow instructions.
• be comfortable with manual work in all weather conditions.
