Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist

To provide physiotherapy to relevant patients within Frailty and older adults, in a range of settings including inpatients, outpatients and patient homes. The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating physiotherapy treatment programmes for children and young people within the paediatric service. They will support the multidisciplinary team in the organisation, delivery and ongoing development of an efficient, high-quality and coordinated physiotherapy service, ensuring that patient needs, service standards and organisational priorities are consistently met. The post holder will manage a defined paediatric clinical caseload under the supervision of the Team Leader and will be accountable for maintaining accurate clinical records and delivering evidence-based practice. In addition, they will provide clinical supervision, support and education to junior physiotherapists, technical instructors, physiotherapy assistants and physiotherapy students to promote high standards of care and professional development. This is a static Band 6 post based within the paediatric physiotherapy service.
