We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a vibrant 19-year-old young woman with physical disabilities. She has a great passion for fashion, makeup and Taylor Swift, and enjoys keeping up with the latest trends. She has a bubbly personality, a fantastic sense of humour and loves spending time with people who can share a laugh with her. Anyone who meets her comments on her positivity, warmth and infectious smile. We are looking for a PA who is friendly, engaging and enjoys supporting a young person to live life to the fullest. The ideal candidate will be happy to accompany her to social activities, support her interests, encourage her independence and enjoy building a positive, fun and respectful working relationship. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a confident and sociable young woman who brings joy and laughter wherever she goes.

About the role

Duties and responsibilities

Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.

Promote and encourage friendships and independence.

Develop a good and trusting one-to-one working relationship.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately and to report defects or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure. Costs will be covered.
