About this role

We are currently recruiting for a

Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in

Birmingham!

Contract Information

Pay Rate

£13.45 per hour

Hours

42 hours a week

Shift Timings

4 on 4 off nightshift - 1830-0630

SIA Licences

Security Guarding or Door Supervisor - CCTV is also required.

You must also have a Full UK Driving license and your own vehicle!

Your Time at Work

As a Security

Officer your duties will include

Operational Duties

Conduct regular patrols (as directed by supervisors), log all incidents and faults accurately, and provide thorough shift handovers.

Flexibility

Candidates must be flexible and willing to cover additional hours, including holidays, which may involve 12-hour shifts.

Compliance

Adhere strictly to site regulations, including health and safety protocols, uniform standards, and correct use of body-worn cameras.

Professionalism

Maintain high standards of conduct and safety for yourself, colleagues, and the public.

Training

While training is provided, you are expected to proactively raise requests for additional support if needed to complete requested tasks.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have the following

Be aged 18 or over
To preferably hold a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License
Be a great communicator, verbally and in writing
To have great customer service skills
Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms

Experience in a similar role required
