Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Productive Supervisor to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop.
Salary – Up to £22 per hour DOE
- Overtime at time and a half.
- Double time on Sundays and bank holidays.
- £120 per week call-out allowance when on standby.
Shift Pattern
•
Monday to Friday
07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00 (rotating shifts).
•
Alternative Saturdays
08:00–12:00 (overtime at time and a half).
The Productive Supervisor Role
- Supervise and support technicians with their daily duties.
- Manage workshop workflow and prioritise jobs.
- Coach and guide the team.
- Maintain standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience, or ambition to progress into a leadership role.
- Commercial vehicle workshop experience, ideally with HGVs or buses.
- Full UK driving licence; HGV licence advantageous.
- Good communication, organisational and basic IT skills.
