Class 1 (CE) HGV Day Driver

based near

Eggborough, East Yorkshire

.

Our client delivers tailored logistics solutions for a major manufacturer supplying drywall products to the construction sector and related retailers across the UK.

Role Overview

-

Multi-drop deliveries (typically up to 3 per day) to construction sites and trade stockists

-

Full trailer work

-

Monday to Friday day shifts

-

2 shifts available : 04.00 starts and 11.00 starts.

-

Occasional nights out may be required, agreed in advance

Pay & Benefits

-

£16.63 per hour on the 04.00 shift

-

£ 17.77 on the 11.00 shift.

-

Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per day

-

45-minute unpaid break

Requirements

-

Valid UK Class 1 (CE) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph card

-

Maximum of 9 penalty points (minor offences only)

-

No DD, DR, CD, or TT99 endorsements

-

Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience in the UK

-

Good communication and sound knowledge of UK road networks

Successful applicants will be required to complete online registration, and pass a client assessment and induction prior to starting.
