Locum Consultant Haematologist

Main duties of the role

You will

Deliver Malignant and General Haematology care across outpatient, day-case and inpatient settings. Participate in specialist clinics, including myeloma and myeloproliferative neoplasms, and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment decisions. Provide inpatient care for patients with general and red cell haematological conditions during ward-attending duties. Join the consultant attending and on-call rota, currently 1 in 6 with prospective cover. Teach UCL medical students and support the supervision and development of junior doctors. Contribute to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and research The proposed job plan comprises 8 PAs for direct clinical care and 2 PAs for supporting professional activities.
