Print Finisher

Brook Street Recruitment is workikng on behalf of our cleint in Belfast who are looking for a new member for their Print Finishing Team.

This position would suit anyone with any machine experience in a manufacturing environment. Career advancement opportunities may exist for the right candidate.

Job Purpose

• To finish digital print to industry leading standards in a busy environment.

Summary of Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Finish digital print work to exact specifications, client deadlines and the company's high standards of quality.
• Carry out work according to Northside procedures and using in-house computerised administration and workflow systems.
• Flexibility is essential to meet client's needs
• Maintain correct documentation.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Undertake all training and development activities as is required.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and build good internal and external customer relationships.
• Identify and act on improvement suggestions.
• Implement and maintain best practice in communication at all times with all colleagues.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with the company's strive for continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality standards.
• Undertake such other duties as may be required commensurate with your position.
• Any other reasonable duties at the request of management

Essential Criteria

• GCSE Maths and English
• You should be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the following areas:
• Verbal and written communication
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Numeracy
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise accordingly
• Meeting targets and achieving deadlines
• Problem solving
• Interpersonal skills

Desirable Criteria

• 2 years' experience of working in the print industry

Working Hours

40 hours per week - shifts may be required.

Salary

Negotiable, depending on experience. circa 27k

There is overtime and a monthly and annual performance bonus scheme.
