The Role – Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant

You will work predominantly within your degree specialism, supporting students to achieve their academic potential.

Your responsibilities will include

Delivering targeted one-to-one and small-group academic interventions.
Supporting students across KS3, GCSE and potentially A-Level.
Stretching high-achieving pupils and supporting those requiring additional guidance.
Working closely with experienced teachers to develop subject knowledge and teaching techniques.
Supporting lesson delivery, classroom engagement and pupil progress.
Building confidence in classroom management and developing essential teaching skills.

Who Are We Looking For?

Russell Group university graduate – 2:1 or First-Class degree preferred.

Strong academic background in English, Maths, Science, Humanities or Languages.
A genuine passion for education and raising student achievement.
Excellent communication skills, confidence and enthusiasm.
An aspiring teacher keen to gain meaningful school-based experience.
Previous tutoring or mentoring experience is advantageous but not essential.
