Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SEN team to ensure a consistent approach.

The ideal candidate

Previous experience supporting children with autism in a primary or specialist setting.

•

Confident using PECS and Makaton to support non-verbal communication.

•

Comfortable providing personal care.

•

Patient, proactive and observant, with the ability to anticipate the child's needs and respond appropriately.

•

Able to remain calm and consistent while encouraging engagement and independence.

•

Passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their potential.
