About this role
Support the delivery of high-quality learning within a Reception class, working closely with the Early Years Teacher to provide engaging play-based learning opportunities, phonics teaching, and early reading support. The role involves supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing, contributing to observations and assessments, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. The postholder will also support children with additional educational, behavioural, medical or emotional needs, work collaboratively with parents and professionals, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
