About this role
Job Role
Weekend Personal Assistant (PA) – Supporting an Autistic Child with Fun Activities and Outings in Salford SA-SC-001
Job Description
Weekend PA to support our autistic son (non-verbal) with swimming, trampolining, parks and other fun activities.
The role involves accompanying and supervising our son during his leisure activities, helping him stay safe, happy and engaged.
A two-week orientation period will be provided at the start of the role to help you get to know our son and allow him to become comfortable with you.
As our son finds it difficult to spend time with people he does not know, consistency is very important. We are therefore looking for one PA who can commit to the role for the full length of the contract and build a trusting, long-term relationship with him.
If our family travels abroad for an extended period, you will not be expected to travel with us. We will provide plenty of notice of any such periods.

Encourage his enjoyment and participation in activities while respecting his needs and interests.
