About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Class 2 HGV Driver to join the Logistics Team at Nelsons for Cartons, part of the Macfarlane Packaging Group.
This isn't traditional multi-drop
most journeys involve just one or a small number of customers, delivering palletised goods mainly across the Midlands and occasionally further afield. Earlier starts may occasionally be required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering palletised goods safely, on time and to a high standard
- Loading your vehicle and making sure every load is secured correctly
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Providing excellent customer service on delivery
- Supporting the warehouse team and safe warehouse operations
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company requirements
What You'll Need
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 1 year's driving experience
- A current Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph Card
- A clean driving record
- Regional or general delivery experience, with a focus on safe driving and load security
- A reliable, team-focused and customer-friendly attitude
