About this role
You will be a communicative team player, with experience in wound care and management of the diabetic foot. You will have opportunity to develop Musculoskeletal podiatry knowledge and put this into practice frequently. You will also be involved in minor surgery clinics. You will be able to manage a caseload, and although predominantly clinical care will be needed, you will be able to organise visits to those who are unable to attend community clinics. You will be confident in treatment, and be aware of criteria for service. You will know your scope of practice, when to ask for help, and how to escalate concerns to MDFT. You will be able to liaise with nursing staff to arrange visits, and form treatment plans for internal and external departments to follow. You will support the service and colleagues in clinic, and when seeing patients at home. Please see attached JD for further information
