About this role
We have no walker in Dundee yet and one person has already applied, so this is the moment to be among the first three listed in the city.
WoofWalk is a UK app where dog owners book a walker or sitter near them.
You are self-employed through it
your prices, your days and hours, your choice of bookings. Owners book and pay through the app, and you are paid out. We do not employ you, do not pay a wage and do not promise work.
Dundee is a modest market
public sitter listings put half-hour walks at £10 to £15 (around £12), hour walks at £12 to £22 (around £18), group walks £9 to £13 and home visits £9 to £12. You set your own prices; our start page shows what you keep.
Camperdown Park, Templeton Woods, Baxter Park and the beach at Broughty Ferry are the main grounds. The city's Dog Walking Code asks for a short lead near children, picnic areas, horses and sports pitches.
Terms
free to join. No commission for your first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, dropping to 10% for life once five of your clients have joined through you. Your tax and National Insurance, and your own insurance, are yours to arrange.
Suits students at either university and anyone free in the middle of the day. Over 18.
