About this role
Nobody is listed on WoofWalk in Carlisle yet. We want three walkers for the city, and one of them could usefully cover the villages towards Brampton and Dalston.
WoofWalk is a booking app for dog owners; walkers on it are independent and self-employed. You set what a walk, a visit or an overnight stay costs, you set the days and hours you can do, and owners book and pay through the app, with the money paid out to you. WoofWalk does not employ you and does not guarantee any work or income.
No Carlisle price research yet; the national picture from public listings is roughly £15 for an hour's walk. Your price is your own, and our start page shows what you would keep at any figure.
Bitts Park, Rickerby Park and the Eden riverside are the daily grounds, with Kingmoor Nature Reserve and Hammond's Pond for variety and the Lakes an hour away for anyone offering hikes.
No joining fee. Commission is 0% for your first 14 days, 15% of each booking after that, and 10% for life once five of your clients have signed up through you. Your own tax, National Insurance and insurance are your responsibility.
Suits someone over 18 with a car, free daytime hours and a liking for weather.
