About this role
Chichester has no WoofWalk walker yet. We want three, and because the district is spread out we would like one in the city, one on the coast around the Witterings and Selsey, and one to the north towards the Downs.
WoofWalk is an app that lets dog owners book a walker, a home visit or a sitter close to them. You are self-employed on it. You decide your prices, your available hours and your bookings; owners book and pay through the app and the money is paid out to you. No employer, no wage, and no guarantee of work: it is your own business.
There is no Chichester price research yet. Nationally, public listings show about £15 for an hour's walk and £10 to £20 for a drop-in. Yours are yours to set.
Priory Park, Oaklands Park and the Centurion Way cover the city walks. West Wittering beach has summer restrictions on dogs, so the coast is more of an autumn and winter ground.
Free to join. No commission in the first 14 days, then 15% per booking, falling to 10% for life when five clients have come onto the app through you. Tax, National Insurance and insurance are for you to organise.
A car matters here. Over 18.
