About this role
Winchester has no WoofWalk walker yet. It is a commuter city with plenty of dogs left at home, and we want three walkers: one for the city, one for the Weeke and Harestock side, one for the villages along the Itchen.
WoofWalk is a UK app where dog owners book someone local to walk or sit their dog. You are self-employed, with your own prices, your own hours and your own say over each booking; owners pay through the app and you are paid out. We do not employ you and there is no wage; bookings are not guaranteed.
No Winchester price research yet; nationally, public listings put an hour's walk at about £15 and a drop-in at £10 to £20. Yours to set; the start page shows what you would keep.
The Itchen water meadows, St Catherine's Hill, St Giles Hill and River Park are the regular grounds, with the South Downs Way starting at the edge of the city.
No joining fee. 0% commission for 14 days, then 15% of each booking, and 10% for life after five clients have joined through you. Your tax, National Insurance and insurance are for you to arrange.
Over 18. Apply through Find a Job and say which part of Winchester you cover.
