Newport dog walker, self-employed, Tredegar House to Fourteen Locks

Newport has no WoofWalk walker yet, and Cardiff next door has none either, so south Wales is wide open.

We want three in Newport

one for the city and Maindee, one for the west around Tredegar House, one for Caerleon and the north.

WoofWalk is a UK app that connects dog owners with a walker who lives near them. You are self-employed on it. Your prices, your hours and your bookings are your own; owners pay through the app and the money is paid out to you. We are not an employer, pay no wage, and cannot guarantee work.

We have no Newport price research yet; the national figure from public listings is about £15 an hour and £10 to £20 for a visit. Set your own.

Belle Vue Park, Tredegar House Country Park, Fourteen Locks and Beechwood Park are the regular grounds.

Free to join. No commission for your first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, and 10% for life after five clients have joined through you. Your tax, National Insurance and insurance are yours to take care of.

Over 18. Apply through Find a Job and say which part of Newport you cover.
