Food Production Operatives – Day and Night Shifts

We’re currently recruiting reliable Food Production Operatives to join an established food production site, with both day and night shifts available.

Whether you’re looking for your first role in food production or already have relevant experience, this is a great opportunity to secure regular work with a choice of shift patterns.

The Role

Working as part of the production team, you’ll be involved in the preparation and packing of fresh vegetables.

Your duties will include

Washing and preparing vegetables

Chopping and processing produce

Preparing products for packing

Bagging finished products

Maintaining required quality standards

Following food safety and workplace procedures

Keeping the working environment clean and hygienic

You’ll be working on a production line for extended periods, so you’ll need to be comfortable standing for long durations and maintaining a consistent standard of work.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you’ll need

Previous experience is not essential

Previous food production experience is advantageous

Comfort working in a food production environment

Ability to stand on a production line for extended periods

A reliable and hardworking approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good attention to quality and hygiene standards

Duration

Temporary ongoing work

Regular shifts available

Permanent contracts available for suitable candidates

Immediate starts available

Working Hours

Day and night shifts are available, depending on your availability and preference.

Day shifts

08:00–17:00

Night shifts

20:00–05:00

5 shifts per week

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, depending on availability

Pay and Benefits

£12.71 per hour – Day shifts

£13.31 per hour – Night shifts

Up to 28 days’ holiday accrued pro rata

Choice of day or night shifts

Regular weekly work

Five shifts per week
