Maintenance Engineer

Wiltan Ltd is looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support our manufacturing facility.

The role will focus on maintaining and repairing production machinery, identifying and resolving faults, and carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and keep production running efficiently.

We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical engineering background and a practical, proactive approach to problem solving. Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous.

Key Duties

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.

• Repair, maintain and modify basic tooling and machine components where required.

• Maintain mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical systems.

• Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

• Work with external contractors where specialist repairs or servicing are required.

• Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair records.

• Assist with general factory, plant and facilities maintenance.
