Environmental Enforcement Officer Team Leader - 18914

This Environmental Enforcement Team Leader role in Merton (SM4) offers £16.23 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on rotating shifts between 06:00 and 22:00. The position combines frontline environmental enforcement duties with team leadership responsibilities, including issuing Fixed Penalty Notices, monitoring team performance, investigating complaints, managing stakeholder relationships, preparing reports and case files, ensuring compliance with legislation, and supporting the training and development of team members. A company vehicle is provided for operational duties. Candidates must have previous leadership or supervisory experience, strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to manage challenging situations professionally, and a full UK driving licence. Knowledge of environmental legislation is desirable.
