JOB OVERVIEW

An excellent opportunity is available for a Senior Identity Consultant to shape complex identity transformation programmes and practical delivery plans.

The Senior Identity Consultant will lead discovery, design and planning, turning customer requirements, risks and dependencies into clear approaches.

Success as the Senior Identity Consultant will involve guiding Active Directory migration, Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity decisions with project, security, infrastructure, application and partner teams.

Remote working is supported, with UK and international customer-site travel and travel to Bristol HQ required.

DUTIES

Your duties as the

Senior Identity Consultant include

• Discovery,

Design and Planning

Lead customer workshops, assess current-state environments and shape clear target-state approaches

•

Active Directory Transformation

Plan forest and domain migrations, consolidations, separations, coexistence and cutover activity

•

Identity Architecture

Advise on trusts, DNS, OU structure, Group Policy, delegation, security baselines and migration readiness

•

Hybrid Identity Consultancy

Provide guidance across Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect, directory synchronisation, authentication methods, Conditional Access, Entra trust, Entra External ID, identity governance and related security controls

•

Migration Delivery

Support pilots, migration waves, validation, rollback and hypercare using appropriate migration tooling

•

Technical Documentation

Produce discovery findings, designs, migration approaches, workshop summaries, decision records, migration plans, runbooks, test plans, validation evidence and handover material

•

Stakeholder Communication

Adapt technical detail for technical and non-technical audiences and provide clear updates on progress, risks, issues and decisions

•

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with project managers, architects, security, infrastructure, application teams and external partners to support successful delivery

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Strong customer-facing consultancy experience leading discovery, design and planning activity

• Demonstrable experience delivering or advising on large-scale Active Directory migrations and restructures

• Strong Active Directory knowledge

• Strong Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity skills

• Experience using migration tooling such as Quest On Demand Migration, Quest Migration Manager, ADMT or similar

• Confident workshop leadership, requirements capture, decision-making and high-quality technical documentation

• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Right to Work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this role

• Willingness to travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally and to Bristol HQ

DESIRABLE

• Experience supporting merger, acquisition, divestment or tenant separation scenarios involving identity change

• Understanding of Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Intune and device join considerations affected by identity transformation

• Experience contributing to statements of work, estimates, pre-sales activity or technical proposals

• Relevant Microsoft certifications in identity, security or Azure
