Description
We have a vacancy for an experienced Mobile HGV Mechanic / Mobile HGV Technician to join a growing commercial vehicle maintenance team in Leicester, working from a fully equipped mobile workshop.
Mobile HGV Mechanic Shift Pattern
45 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times
Mobile HGV Mechanic Salary = £50,000 to £60,000 Depending on Experience + Overtime
The Mobile HGV Mechanic Role
- Service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers at customer sites and at the roadside
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and braking faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Carry out trailer repairs, MOT preparation and roadside breakdown repairs
- Complete accurate service and repair records
Mobile HGV Mechanic Requirements
- Previous truck and trailer experience as an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) preferred
- Full UK driving licence
